The Constellation Class starship Stargazer was commanded by Jean-Luc Picard (age 28 at the time) starting from 2333 when the captain was killed. The ship was abandoned after a heated battle that the young Picard preformed his now famous Picard maneuver in the Maxia Seta System in 2355 against a then-unidentified starship (later discovered to be Ferengi).
